The 18th of October saw the launch event of Kathaa, our ethical clothing social enterprise. We launched our first line of men’s and women’s down jackets, all of which are made in Nepal by women we freed from domestic slavery and have supported into adulthood through education, nurturing and vocational training.
The launch party itself was a huge success. Held in Exmouth Market Centre in Clerkenwell, London, it attracted a wide and varied group of guests, who were treated to brilliant music from Marland, Sebastian Mayor, Alfie Memet and James Porteous-Butler; who are all currently studying at the Institute of Comtemporary Performance. Our guests were provided with delicacies from The Dusty Knuckle Bakery and pizzas from Pizza Pilgrims. Drinks flowed, curtesy of Unwind Social and their bar.
Following this success, we are pleased to announce that we have decided to extend the period of the special launch event discount offers. Until the end of October, you can get 20% of the cost of a jackets using code PARTY20 or 25% the purchase price of two jackets with the code INTRO25. Get your jacket/s by clicking on the button below!
