Kathaa, our social enterprise will have its official launch on Thursday 18th October at Exmouth Market, Clerkenwell, London, from 4.30pm. We will be officially launching Kathaa’s first clothing range of men’s and women’s down jackets, all of which are made by women we freed from domestic, childhood slavery and subsequently supported, trained and helped to set-up their own businesses and co-operatives; leaving them independant and self-sufficient. 100% of Kathaa’s profits go back to NYF UK to help more children in Nepal.
We will be joined on the night by Unwind Social Pop Up Bars and Bloom Bakery; both of whom donate a percentage of their profits to projects for social change. There will also be live music. Come along on the night to see the jackets, learn more about Kathaa and the amazing women involved and to buy a jacket!
Admittance is free, but if you book an early-bird ticket through Event Brite ahead of the event, you will receive a free drink on arrival – let us kow that you are coming and secure your drink here. If you are unable to attend on the night, don’t worry, you can still purchase a jacket through the Kathaa website at www.kathaa.co.uk
