Looking for a challenge in 2018? Can you walk 24.5 miles in under 12 hours? Nepal Youth Foundation UK is organising a Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to climb Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingelborough. There will also be a Yorkshire 1 Peak Challenge for those who would prefer a shorter option which will be approximately 7.5 miles.
When – Saturday 19th May 2018
Location – Start and finish will be Horton-in-Ribblesdale, North Yorkshire. We will be registering walkers in the farmers field in between the train station and the Crown pub (postcode is BD24 0HH.) You will also be able to park in the field all day for £3 per car.
Route – Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and then Ingelborough – the full route so you can mark it on your maps is here: https://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/yorkshire-three-peaks-challenge/route.
Registration cost – £20 for Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, £10 for 1 Peak Challenge (£5 for children). We are asking people to fundraise at least £150 for Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, £100 for 1 Peak Challenge (£200 for a family). The best ways to do this is to set up a Every Day Hero page or here is our Sponsorship Form Yorkshire 3&1 Peak you can print off. Registration will close midnight Wednesday 16th May 2018.
